| Half-Blood Prince Trailer |

So... I was very disappointed with BOOK6, but this trailer of HBP...kind of gives me hope that the movie might work it's magic and save the story. I mean they screwed the stories prior so they should reward us and save the spottily told part of the story, right? I have to say though, I have great faith in Yates. I wasn't entirely disappointed with movie5 - so I think I might actually pay to go see this one. I waited for dvd for the last two movies. lol. I wanna see more trailers to make sure I can keep the faith! PLUS, I'm super excited about seeing Gambon in action! |

| Fiction100: Image - St. George |
[Jul. 23rd, 2008|11:32 pm] |
The smell of the earth met her nose as she cowered behind the brush. The ground trembled under hooves of thunder and the air sang with violence. Metal clashed like lighting in the clearing as the roars of the beast shook mountains. Her eyes drunk in the scene before her as the valiant hero heaved his blade and swore to the devil at his feet. With every close call she gasped in fright. Should the knight fail in his efforts Liliana would be left defenseless.
The sun was sinking lower into the earth and the blows to the dragon seemed pointless. With every clash of metal to scale there came a roar of agitated conviction. Though the wise man would have kept running the woman felt it necessary to stay behind and watch. Her conflicting emotions of survival and loyalty kept her hidden in the distance. The adventure would certainly be worth retelling if they managed to survive.

| Fiction100: Trembling |
[Jul. 23rd, 2008|11:32 pm] |
Mobilized by pride he peered around the corner. With tennis racket gripped until his knuckles were white, the journey down the long empty corridor began. The boards beneath his night slippers creaked, and the draft tickled his bare ankles.
An uncharacteristic noise of the house loomed in the darkness beyond. Every muscle in his body tensed as he stood motionless in his place. Involuntarily he began to tremble.
The whispered stutter of, "H-H-Hello?" went by unanswered. His heartbeat quickened while his breathing became louder. He turned quickly back to where he’d just been, only to be face to face with...nothing. |

| Fiction 100: Ripples |
[Jul. 23rd, 2008|11:30 pm] |
The smell of rain loomed through the valley as a breeze brushed against him. As melancholy as he had been the days before, Thomas dragged his feet along the path. With the shift in wind the golden sea to his left rippled under the darkening sky. With a simple glance his breath was suddenly trapped within the cage of his chest.
She was there....
Oh how Thomas longed to caress her lively cheeks and run his fingers through her deep ginger hair. With an eager impulsive dive into the rapid waves from his foot path he called her name, “Evangeline!” |

To the citizens of the United States of America:
In light of your failure in recent years to nominate competent candidates for President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately.
Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths, and territories (except Kansas, which she does not fancy).
